Volunteering

Wasrag depends on volunteers to provide their skills and experience to Rotary clubs and Rotarians around the world. There are many ways in which you can get involved:

  • Are you an expert or do you have field experience in water or sanitation?  In health or hygiene education?
  • Do you have experience in marketing, fundraising, or recruiting members?
  • Do you have a flair for data management?  Organizing events and conferences?
  • Maybe you have writing skills and have edited newsletters and blogs?
  • Are you an experienced trainer?  Good with webinars?  Have you designed e-Learning programs?
  • Are you a linguist?  Can you translate English into Spanish, French, Brazilian-Portuguese or other languages?

These are just a few of the areas where we need help.  Tell us about yourself by completing this questionaire [EnglishFrenchSpanishPortuguese-Brazilian].

We even have a version of the questionnaire that works with mobile devices:  English-Mobile, French-mobile, Portugese-Brazilian mobile, Spanish-mobile

More specifically there are some key roles where we need help NOW!  If you are interested in any of these roles, please email.

  • Roving reporters to provide interesting WASH news for Wasrag's newsletters and blogs.
  • A videographer or video editor to assist in making short video clips on key aspects of Wasrag's role.
  • Membership renewal assistant - following up on renewals
  • Someone with community needs assessment experience to assist Rotarians in communications with community members, working with Regional Teams, carrying out needs assessments.

If you are interested in any of these roles we'd be delighted to hear from you.  And, if you'd like to discuss a potential role we can be reached in Canada at (416) 596-3624 or at info@wasrag.org.
